Dr. Daisy Segovia
Associate Director of Research & Visualizations
Dr. Daisy Segovia is an experienced data interpreter and analyst skilled in transforming complex data into progressive ideas by creating clear, compelling reports, maps, and data visualizations. She currently serves as the project lead for a statewide project exploring the role of geography as a barrier for transfer-intending community college students, notably for Latine students, students from low-income backgrounds, and students residing in rural areas.
Daisy brings over nearly 20 years of research experience to this role, having previously worked as a public policy and psychology researcher, research lab manager, and psychology/research methods faculty.
As a first-generation college student, Daisy has navigated the CCC and UC systems, receiving an associate degree from Riverside Community College and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UC Davis. She also holds a PhD in psychology from the Graduate Center, City University of New York.
Based in Riverside County, Daisy is a dedicated foodie, a passionate tea enthusiast, and holds the cherished title of the world's best aunt.
