Micheline Pontious

Micheline Pontious is currently working at City College of San Francisco as a Senior Research Analyst. After obtaining her MA in social psychology & evaluation, she began her journey in institutional research at the California Community Colleges (CCC) part-time at Mt. San Antonio College, where she grew her passion for the field.

Along with working at her college, Micheline participates in cross-college efforts that support CCC professionals. She was a member of the Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative (IEPI) Integrated Planning Team and a coach for The RP Group’s Leading from the Middle (LFM) before becoming an RP Board Member.

Micheline’s favorite part of working in institutional research at the community colleges is the wide variety of topics and projects she gets to work on, which then have an impact in supporting students. Some of the areas include equity, accreditation, Student Services outcomes, Guided Pathways, credit & non-credit, MIS, and VAR.
