Sean Whaley

Sean Whaley is currently the Director of Institutional Research, Planning, and Effectiveness (IRPE) at Feather River Community College (a small rural college in the Northern Sierra). Sean got his start in IRPE as a Research Analyst at Compton College. Prior to discovering the research field, he spent five years bouncing around the globe with the US Navy.

When he is away from his desk, Sean enjoys all the outdoor activities the mountains have to offer. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from Michigan State University and a master’s in applied statistics from the University of Pittsburgh.
